pictures from a cruise – part two – food and music

No one can take this moment of joy from us!!

From the song, Wide Awake, by Katy Perry, we have these lyrics:

I wish I knew then
What I know now
Wouldn’t dive in
Wouldn’t bow down

Another enchanting sounding song on the air waves recently is Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness.

And, here is one that we share a link to on YouTube.

Na na na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na na na na na na
Na, na, na
Na, na, na

. . . . . .

Honey I’ll be your shelter
I’ll be the one to take you through the night
Whenever you need shelter
I’ll make everything alright, make everything alright

Truth be told, sometimes I sing rock-n-roll in the shower.

But this essay is not primarily about music, thus we share the pics of food on the cruise. With a ton of pictures from this cruise, there will be at least a few more installments in this series of essays.  Our blog’s photographer was on a cruise ship that departed Los Angeles, California on Friday, 4 October, and arrived at its final destination of Miami, Florida on Friday 18 October 2013 via (transiting) the Panama Canal and after several ports of call.

Here are several photos of some of the delicious food and meals served on the ship – in no particular order.  Enjoy!

Here is a lobster dinner.
