the Kennedy Space Center – part two
In this photo essay, we offer pictures taken at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This was the first port of call on our photographer’s week long cruise in November, 2013.
The NASA symbol or logo prominently displayed. It appears that one visitor is camera shy.
Rockets for peace.
The center is spread out over many acres.
This next image appears to be a space capsule.
The metal exhaust tubes of a booster rocket.
More of the grounds of the space center.
One of the exhibits.
A space capsule for space explorers of the 20th century.
Possibly a section of a rocket.
One of the buildings at the center. The space center has a different atmosphere or feel to it. It is somewhat other worldly.
Lonely sentinels in the late autumn afternoon light.
A final look back before returning to the cruise ship.
Thanks for reading/viewing.
