We heard recently that Hillary Clinton faces a gender gap of her own. While most Democratic women support her and will vote her, most men (61 percent according to what we heard) will not support nor vote for her.
Our question is: Why do we hear so much about a gender gap when a male candidate is opposed by a significant majority of women, but we do not hear so much about a gender gap when a female candidate is opposed by most men?
It appears that political correctness and identity politics gives rise to a mindset that values women’s values, views, and priorities more than men’s. So much for “equality”. As well, this could be a case of a lazy, biased mainstream media – but in the US that is nothing new.
