What is a woman to do in modern day America to find a good man

It does appear that many young women are not finding what they truly need. This first person account speaks to the challenge for young women in our demoralized, post Christian culture. Reblog Friday rolls on.

(sourceLife as a 31-year-old single female is actually not so glamorous. The media–music, television, and movies would make most people believe we are Carrie Bradshaws. However, most of my friends and I in this situation are depressed and anxious. Have we missed the boat of true love and marriage?

Where does one find it? All of the online dating seem more like casual hookup services then people wanting to form a lifetime love.

  1. It was ACLU Jews who, 50 years ago, took Christian prayer out of the public schools and “In God We Trust” out of our currency. Alienation and loneliness, well depicted here, have been the result of what most thought would amount to insignificant social engineering. Man, were we ever wrong!

    1. Indeed, this Leftist social engineering has caused untold, incalculable harm and suffering to millions of individuals, families, and children. The human cost cannot be quantified, but it is very large.

  2. Wow. I can not even begin to comment on how the destruction of the nuclear family (father, mother, and children) and the “need” for two income households have affected the American citizens. Greed and the lack of urgency to take on traditional adult responsibilities is further festering the wound. Feminizing and vilifying males while portraying them on TV as helpless idiots may be the final nails in the traditional family coffin. However, so as not to sound defeatist, I believe that the pendulum can swing back the other way and the nuclear family may become a trendy, new and fresh idea that looks attractive to future generations.

    1. Thanks for the comment. Yes, now to be pro-traditional family and marriage is “counter-cultural”, and may become fashionable among the young. There is hope, also, as more families choose to homeschool their children. Still a tiny fraction of the population of school age children, but homeschooling in time may have more effect than its numbers might suggest.
